Celebrating 70 Years of Service
Wounded Warriors
At McCroskey Law, we salute all of our active military and veterans. It is an honor to represent those who have served.
Social Security will expedite the hearing of any military service member who became disabled while on active duty on or after October 1, 2001. Social Security cases for Wounded Warriors are expedited, regardless of how the disability occurred. In other words, a Wounded Warrior does not have to have combat injuries.
It is important that Wounded Warriors tell Social Security that their disability occurred while they were on active duty. The Social Security Administration will then request information from the service member’s military records to confirm their Wounded Warrior status.
